Carefully designed by Tonglen Lake Lodge’s founder, Donna Gates, The Lodge has been constructed with huge hand-hewn logs from the Fairbanks area and is tastefully decorated with the works of local artisans.
From the handcrafted log furniture, pottery, paintings and stained glass created by uniquely talented local artists, the Lodge is a unique embodiment of artistic flair and authentic Alaskan style.
Downstairs, the Artisan Café and art gallery is the perfect place to have breakfast or enjoy evening appetizers in the summer.
Upstairs, exquisite 360-degree views, beautiful woodwork and exposed trusses make the spacious proportions of the room ideal for our guests to enjoy dinner service as well as the views, or maybe even a live musical performance.
