Breakfast at the Artisan Cafe
Served Daily from 7:00 am – 11:00 am (available from as early as 5:30 am on request)
The friendly ambience and creative aesthetic of the Artisan Café are a favorite with both Tonglen Lake Lodge guests and locals who love a Denali hotel with delicious pastries, wholesome breakfasts and carefully crafted espresso drinks made with Alaskan-roasted Kaladi Brothers coffee.
Our Guests start the day with the aromas from our on-site bakery and a freshly ground espresso.

Lunch To-Go
Pickup at Breakfast
Tonglen guests are typically off property during lunch hours, either on a hike in the backcountry of Denali National Park, on a bus deep inside the Park or maybe White Water Rafting. They don’t need to worry about finding food while they’re out, Tonglen’s Artisan Cafe will have Lunch prepared for pickup at Breakfast.
Vegetarian and GF options are available, advanced notice is preferred.
Enjoy a Cocktail at the Artisan Cafe
Daily from 11:00 am – 10:00 pm
Enjoy this magical time of day when guests share stories over Alaskan-brewed beer, fine wine and cocktails. Here, Tonglen Lake Lodge staff are available to help plan the following day’s excursions and provide complimentary pre-dinner snacks. Lawn games and board games are available for guests, or you can take your time perusing the local Artisan’s crafts on display in the Cafe.
Not just any Denali hotel experience, after dinner guests are welcome to enjoy the campfire, roasted marshmallows and/or join in on a scheduled evening walk.
All beer, house wine and cocktails are included in your stay, with wine by the bottle and additional liquor options all available for purchase.
Dinner at the Lodge
The extraordinary dining room at the Lodge, with its wooden interior, impressive proportions and expansive mountain and lake views is the perfect venue to accommodate guests for a five-course dinner, every evening.
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dietary requirements can be easily accommodated with enough notice to prepare.

As a top Denali hotel, menus, which rotate every night, always offer three choices, a seafood, meat and vegetable option, and are largely dependent on seasonal, fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Reserve your dining time to help us keep the experience as intimate as possible.
