This is our only lakefront option and is ideal for couples traveling together, families or other groups.
Please Note: The guesthouse unit is sold as quadruple occupancy. There are add-on rates for additional guests to cover catering and housekeeping costs.
*Non-Alcoholic drinks, house wines, Alaskan Craft Beers included. There is also a full wine list and some liquor available for purchase.

Method of Payment
We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and AMEX), checks in U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank, and wire transfers for international reservations.
Deposit
A deposit of 25% is due at the time of booking
Balance of Payment
Reservations must be paid in full 60 days prior to arrival.
Please Note: We are a small operation and must be strict with our cancellation policy. Mother Nature can be fickle – mud slides have washed out the Denali Park Road and fires have closed the only road between Fairbanks and Anchorage.
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRAVEL INSURANCE!
Cancellations
Cancellations made over 60 days prior to arrival date will receive a full refund less a $100 service fee. Cancellations made 60-30 days prior to arrival date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will be charged in full.
On-Site Policies
Pets: We love animals, and five dogs do live at Tonglen, however we do not allow our guests or community visitors to bring their pets into our buildings; pets on the property must be on a leash. Please contact us if you have a registered service animal.
Firearms: Firearms are prohibited on the property.
Smoking: ALL BUILDINGS ARE SMOKE-FREE. This includes tobacco and marijuana in any smoke or vapor form. There is a designated smoking location on the property.

Tonglen Lake’s mission is to share the best of its remote environment. That environment, like all of Alaska, includes both friendly and unfriendly microbes. By staying at Tonglen Lake you are accepting responsibility for your personal health care.
We want your visit to be safe and memorable. We practice hygiene appropriate for our rural and rustic setting.

If you fall ill during your time at Tonglen Lake Lodge, we have antigen tests available onsite and COVID-19 PCR tests are available at different locations throughout the Denali Borough .
Our Protocols
Face masks: We have disposable face masks available for you if you wish to use them in our public spaces and our staff will wear masks if they are experiencing any symptoms of a virus.
Sanitizing and cleaning: Our Café and Dining Room have a HEPA Air Purifiers that will be running during services. All spaces will be cleaned with sanitizing solution, followed by all “touch” surfaces being disinfected frequently. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the main buildings. Our staff are always just a phone call away. If anything arises during your stay, or if you have any questions about your time in Denali, we will be available and happy to help.
