DESCRIPTION:“After a long hiatus from playing music (work\, raise kids\, build\, repeat) the light switched back on some time ago and it stuck.  After more than 43 winters in Alaska\, I now play most of the winter season with my band The Silvahtones on the Big Island\, and during late winter/early spring ski season in Girdwood with my band The Turnagains.  We’re mostly acoustic: fiddle\, mandolin\, bass\, guitar (and keyboards now and then) with sweet vocal harmonies. Good ol’ Americana – a mixture of folk\, blues\, country and bluegrass.  Solo\, I play guitar and sing.  Lots of Emmylou Harris\, Lucinda Williams\, Doc Watson\, Gillian Welch\, Roseanne Cash\, John Hiatt\, just to name a few.  Come on out\, and bring your instrument if you want to jam after!”
