Tonglen Lake Lodge is much more than just a place to rest your head while you visit Denali National Park. A destination in its own right, Tonglen Lake is a sanctuary from where you can explore Denali while you recuperate from your adventures.

Set on 5 acres of pristine Alaskan wilderness, just minutes from the main entrance of Denali National Park, Tonglen Lake Lodge is perfect for travelers who want to escape crowds of tourists and plan their own itineraries.

If you would like the flexibility of exploring Denali at your own pace, we are here to guide you and ensure that you make the most of the many extraordinary experiences on offer.

Through our partnerships with independent guides we are able to set you in the right direction. From guided bus tours, fishing, rafting, flight seeing, bird watching, naturalist hikes and much more we have suggestions, itineraries and friendly, experienced experts for every season’s adventures.

Transportation:
Tonglen Lake Lodge is best suited to independent travelers and groups who want to explore Denali with their own vehicle or with a private guide. Local transportation services are limited and local car rentals are expensive, so we encourage you to rent a car from Anchorage or Fairbanks so that you have the flexibility and variety in your itinerary to make the most of your stay in Alaska. Tonglen Lake Lodge does not currently have shuttle options available. If you would like more information on local options please feel free to contact us.
